What is it

A cross-trust award scheme to provide challenge to our pupils/students and recognise and celebrate their skills and achievements. Linked to the character education framework, this award will be used as a vehicle to bring the work of pastoral hubs together and support students’ wider personal development.

Why

To complement, reflect and enhance the existing work taking place in and outside schools. To bring young people together from across TCAT to celebrate personal development.

Who?

Year 4/5 pupils

Year 8 students

Year 12 and 13 students

How will work/activities be tracked/recorded?

Primary pupils will collate work in a TCAT Challenge Award branded booklet, and points will be recorded on Arbor.

Secondary students will upload work to Arbor and points will be recorded here.

College students can use in conjunction with the Skills Builder Platform and Unifrog.

Where will tasks come from?

There is a Challenge Award folder on Teams that contains activities, projects and task options relating to each of the four virtues. Schools can also set their own tasks/projects and activities and validate points accordingly.
