A multi academy trust in Cheshire, St. Helens and Wirral comprising of Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form providers. We educate the youngest in our community while also providing opportunities for adults to return to the classroom.
The Challenge Academy Trust was formed in 2017 by like-minded leaders of local primary and secondary schools in Warrington along with Priestley College
A robust structure is in place within TCAT to ensure that educational standards and expectations are met across the board with a strong sense of accountability in all schools
Thank you to everyone for all your support at todayβs very successful summer fair. It was a great turnout.
A special mention to GSP staff and @FriendsofGSP as without you organising and running it, it would not have taken place.
Today we celebrate an incredible Year 11 cohort β¨
You've filled Penketh High with memories, laughter & determination. We're so proud of everything you've achieved & wish you every success for the future.
You'll always be part of the Penketh High family π
Good luck Yr 11 π
Fearless, fierce and relentless are 3 words Iβd use to describe these boys on the rugby pitch tonight.
It wasnβt our night to be crowned winners as St Philipβs beat us 6-4, but my goodness did those boys put up a fight.
We couldnβt be any prouder of them. They were brilliant.
Good luck to our boys playing in the final of the Fire 7s tonight at the Halliwell Jones stadium.
Canβt wait to cheer you on! π

Sunshine, teamwork, campfire fun and adventure! βοΈποΈ
Our Duke of Edinburgh pupils had a fantastic time on last week's expedition, showing resilience, independence and great team spirit as they worked towards their awards.
Memories for a lifetime β well done, everyone! πβ¨
Another fantastic performance from our GSP Dance Squad tonight at the TCAT Performs show.
The confidence, the energy, the talent and the smiles from this bunch of girls are second to none. They made the staff and their families so proud.

π’ Temporary Canteen Menu Change
Please note that we have a revised menu in place for tomorrow
This is one way to cool down on a hot lunch time! Mandy & Melissa have brought super soakers in to keep the children entertained!
Hot Weather Uniform Update βοΈ
To help keep pupils comfortable during the warm weather, we are making a temporary adjustment to our uniform expectations for the remainder of the week.
Thank you for your support as we help everyone stay safe and comfortable during the hot weather
Temperatures are set to soar next week so please make sure that your child:
*is wearing sun cream
*has a hat or a cap and *has a water bottle
We will reduce the time outdoors in the sun if necessary. No school ties whilst the weather is so hot so please leave them at home.
And just like that, the Tyn-y-Felin fun is over for Year 4. We made lots of happy memories, tried out new activities, developed new skills and proved how resilient and brave we can be.
Until next time π
We hope you enjoy watching our reel of Tynny memories. π

Last Friday, pupils stepped back in time with a visit to Blists Hill. They enjoyed a fascinating tour of the Victorian town, took part in a traditional candle-dipping experience, and learned about life in Victorian Britain through hands-on activities and interactive exhibits.
Last Friday, our Art pupils visited Manchester Metropolitan University to explore exhibitions and discover more about studying art beyond school.
Thank you to the MMU team for an inspiring and informative day.
Congratulations to this week's Attendance Quiz winners!
Pupils across every year group put their knowledge to the test and earned themselves a reward.
Great knowledge, great attendance, and well-deserved prizes π
Fantastic trip and opportunity to broaden curriculum undertaking beyond the classroom πππ
