The Challenge Academy Trust was formed in 2017 by like-minded leaders of local primary and secondary schools in Warrington along with Priestley College
A robust structure is in place within TCAT to ensure that educational standards and expectations are met across the board with a strong sense of accountability in all schools
We are hosting an informative parent workshop around ADHD in conjunction with @PenkethSouth and @SycamoreSEND

That’s a wrap on World Book Week '26! Our pupils have been channelling their inner Shakespeare, bringing Macbeth to life with some serious drama. Beyond the stage, the goal is simple: building the confidence and skills that stay with our students long after the final curtain call
What a day we’ve had celebrating everything to do with books and reading! From Room on the Broom spells and potion mixing, to book scavenger hunts, live author events, book quizzes and a book themed lunch - we’ve done it all and had such fun!

Yesterday 200 of our pupils visited the Epstein Theatre in Liverpool for a fantastic performance of Romeo and Juliet 🎭
It was a brilliant chance for our Year 10s to see the play they’ve been studying come to life on stage!

Pupils took part in an inspiring workshop hosted by Priestley College, exploring new creative techniques and stepped into a real college studio environment. They designed their own collage-inspired piece and finished it with a bold monoprint layered on top – amazing!

Campfire time, where we toasted marshmallows, sang songs and told jokes! Now it’s hot chocolate and marshmallows with a movie and colouring. Not sure we will be going to sleep any time soon! 🤦♀️@sycamore_tree1
What a beautiful day for some outdoor adventures on our Year 2 residential at Tattenhall.
What an amazing start to our residential! We learnt some jungle survival skills like tying knots and setting up hammocks, as well as lots of team building games.
I have just left our lovely Year 2 children in their pjs, watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate.
They’ve been fantastic and loved the campfire and singing (shouting!!!).
Hopefully, they’ll be 😴 very soon!
