YR 9 had a fantastic day at The Lowry watching Noughts & Crosses. After studying the play in class, it was brilliant to see the text brought to life on stage. Pupils also enjoyed taking in the sunshine & the sights around Salford Quays.

Yr 10 pupils have been busy mastering the art of aeration to create some seriously golden, crunchy honeycomb. From watching the chemical reaction foam up to the final shatter, it’s been a sweet success all around.

Our Year 7s traded their chocolate eggs for chef’s hats this week! It has been an absolute joy to welcome everyone back to school for the new term. The energy is incredible as pupils dive into their practical work with focus, flair, and plenty of appetite.
A very warm welcome to our new Reception 2026 Starters and their families. We are excited to have you join our school.

This afternoon, we completed our annual community pledge and went litter picking around school and along Liverpool Road all 352 children and about 30 staff! We collected so much rubbish!
