Over the last 20 years I have worked in the built environment sector for military and more recently educational establishments. Having started my career manging a national operations team, I quickly moved into a leadership role responsible for service family accommodation in Central England and South Wales for both the Army and RAF. After 13 years working across the military estates, I moved into a new position providing total facilities management in commercial premises in the North West region. It was in this role I began working with schools and quickly realised how important a facility can impact on the user’s experience.
I joined The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT) in July 2022, as the Head of Facilities Management. Providing a safe and well-maintained school building will enhance engagement, learning and growth of our students and I am pleased to be a part of that journey.
