I began working in school business management in 1999. I spent 22 years as a member of the school leadership team at Beamont Collegiate Academy as the Business Manager and more recently as the Director of Operations.
Prior to my career in business management, I worked as a Tutor and Manager of a North West training company, before moving to the Education Business Partnership at North & Mid Cheshire, Training & Enterprise Council.
At Beamont Collegiate Academy I had a leading role in the design and build of the new school, as part of the Priority Schools Build Programme.
I have volunteered as a school governor and worked closely with the school governing body at Beamont Collegiate Academy for 22 years.
In 2005 I was seconded for 12 months to Warrington Local Authority to work as part of the team managing the National Job Evaluation Process.
Since joining TCAT in November 2021 I have worked as Operations Manager, aiming to offer support to all our Academies with operational functions such as administration, estates management, health and safety and catering. My role is very changeable, to meet the needs of the Academies and I relish the new experiences this brings.
I was educated in Warrington, and I attended a High School, which is now part an Academy within the Challege Academy Trust.
I have a daughter and two granddaughters who also live locally. My interests include travelling and also supporting animal rescue charities. At home I spend most of my free time caring for my 4 dogs, 3 cats, 6 hens and my pony.
